FX Profit Signals (Platinum) – Full Review
FX Profit Signals is a website with a mixture of free and paid forex signals. The paid signals come in two types – VIP and Platinum. For the purposes of this review we looked solely at the Platinum signals.
The signals are sent out via Telegram and there are 1-2 signals per day on average. They are usually sent out mid-morning (GMT) and are accompanied by a graph explaining the technical setup for the trade. Each signal comes with an entry level, stop loss and three profit targets. Here is an example of how the signals look on Telegram:
We used the TP2 for the purposes of this review. They trade a wide range of FX pairs as well as commodities including oil, gold, silver and platinum.
Generally these are swing trades with big stop losses and take profits 70-150 pips away and they can take a few days to a few weeks in some instances to complete. Some of the bigger swing trades have exit levels hundreds or even thousands of pips away from the entry point, although of course if those are too much for you then you could go in with lower lot sizes or leave those trades as there are only 1-2 of them per month.
The trial started off a little slowly and we were in deficit early on but they recovered very well and by the end we were well in profit; 937 pips in profit on our closed trades to be precise. The open trades were also 1800 pips up at the end of our trial period, made up largely of two excellent oil trades which are close to hitting their TP2 levels. Those could be closed out now if you wanted to take that 1800 pip profit.
With results like those then we are more than happy to award this a PASSED rating. It’s a simple service to follow and delivered very positive results during our trial.
Service Breakdown
Ease of use: There are around 1-2 per signals per day on average which makes it a pretty easy service to follow. They tend to come in around the same time of day which helps with following the signals.
Transparency of results: Although they use three take profit targets (which can be method services use to manipulate their results), in this case they present the results for the TP2 on their website.
Did our results match those on their website? There were quite a few differences between our results and those published on their website, for a variety of reasons. Some differences were due to us entering the trade at a different price to the signal as we weren’t able to take the trade straight away, which is obviously no fault of theirs. Some of their results were different to ours however and we aren’t sure why. Some of the P/L results are also different because we used IG Index and a £/pip approach where as they use standard lot sizes, e.g. 0.10/lot, to record their results. These don’t make a huge difference in the end but are worth taking into account when looking at the results.
Trade success rate: The trade success rate for the trial was 46% which is pretty good when you consider some of the big profit targets being sought.
Subscription costs: The subscription costs are reasonable at €69 per month or €149 for 3 months. That includes both the Platinum and VIP signals.
OVERALL VERDICT: PASSED 4.5 out of 5.0 stars
FX Profit Signals is Forex trading service that offers free and paid signals via Telegram. We proofed their paid Platinum signals during this trial and they made an excellent 937 pips profit on the closed trades whilst the open trades at the end of our trial period were over 1800 pips up.
All in all those are superb results and given how simple a service it is to follow we are happy to award it a PASSED rating. Well worth checking out.
FX Profit Signals (Platinum) – Results Update
10th July 2020
FX Profit Signals Platinum service has continued its impressive fight back, with a profit of 202 pips made since our last update.
That means they are now 164 pips up for our trial overall.
You can view full results here.
The open trades are also doing very well currently, not least two oil trades which are close to hitting their targets and securing massive profits. They also have a number of open GBP trades versus various currencies that are currently up and if they hit their targets the returns will be very significant indeed.
It’s been good to see the comeback here since the early days of our trial and we are liking the look of this service more and more.
FX Profit Signals (Platinum) – Results Update
18th June 2020
FX Profit Signals Platinum service has bounced back nicely, with a profit of 452 pips made since our last update.
That means they are now just 38 pips down for our trial overall.
You can view full results here.
The open trades are also doing very well currently, being a combined 1400 pips up at the time of writing. That is made up in large part of two oil trades they advised which are doing very well.
Just a reminder that they provide three profit targets with their signals but we are using TP2 (take profit 2) for the purposes of our review.
Anyway, good to see the turnaround here and let’s hope they keep the positive momentum going.
FX Profit Signals (Platinum) – Results Update
16th May 2020
It’s been a rough start to our trial of FX Profit Signals‘ Platinum service, with a loss of 490 pips made so far after two weeks of following the signals.
You can view full results here.
This is one of those services that provide three Take Profit targets with their signals, so for the purposes of this trial we are using the second profit target, TP2, although obviously using one of the other targets would produce slightly different results.
Signals are sent out via Telegram and there’s an average of one signal per day which makes it a straightforward service to follow.
The only bright spark for them is that the open trades are slightly up at the moment, so let’s hope most of them go on to hit the target profit prices and they get things moving back in the right direction.
FX Profit Signals (Platinum) – New Review
3rd May 2020
Today we are starting a new trial of a forex signals service called FX Profit Signals.
This is a website with a mixture of free and paid forex signals. The paid signals come in two types – VIP and Platinum. The results for both look very strong, with regular monthly profits being claimed on their website.
For example, they claim the VIP signals have the following profits over the last few months:-
- March: +9200 pips
- February: +3095 pips
- January: +2568 pips
The claimed profits for the Platinum signals aren’t quite as impressive but still look pretty good with:
- March: +$2589
- February: +$134
- January: -$905
We will be focusing on the Platinum signals in this review as they are a more manageable number.
There isn’t a great amount of detail about the service’s background, other than some generic information that “We are a team of traders with more than 10-years experience in Financial markets. We have created our professional team after many years of research the Forex markets. We followed many rules and strategies while choosing the best that works for us in the long run.”
There is a video on the site from an Australian guy called Matthew Adams, although he isn’t listed in the About Us page and there doesn’t seem to be much info about him elsewhere.
Anyway, let’s see how the signals get on under a live trial and if they can live up to the results claimed on the website.
We will record our results here so you can see how they are getting on.
In the meantime you can check out FX Profit Signals for yourself here.
